I not so humbly accept this award and the great honor and responsibility that comes with it. As the smartest, most informed, and probably the best-looking poster to this message board, I hope to import my knowledge and wisdom the the other posters to this message board in 2023 and far beyond into the future. Anytime someone has to constantly post something along the line of how great he/she is in a declared field of expertise......One should immediately question why said individual needs to make sure you need to be constantly reminded of this stated proclamation, rather then just allowing the supposed known merits of he/she's actual work product to to do that for them?

One of my best friends in Tampa has an extensive collection of The Boss’ recordings. I play the Springsteen Sirius channel for him sometimes while riding in my car. His knowledge of each song is impressive.

My friend’s political views mirror Springsteen’s so we do our best not to discuss politics.

Nice try MarkECannon, I am not falling into that trap. Officials will very rarely officiate games that involve friends and family, and there is no need for an official to know about a coach or player's political affiliations. Officiating a game is much different than being friends with a person.

The Ft. Lauderdale cheerleaders and fans chanting EH QUA TEE! EH QUA TEE!

Dixie County with a cheer of their own LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP!

The Marching Socialists Band blaring their fight song “If I Had a Hammer”. The Ultramaga Band playing “God Bless the USA”.

had I known Palmetto was starting such a young team (2 freshmen and 2 Sophomores), I may have ventured over to see the game. The Tarps B-Ball team is peaking at a perfect time however! In as far as my allegiance, I'll alway be a Manatee guy, but I also love all sports......particularly football, but with Manatee returning to what had been its typical norm prior to Joe Kinnans arrival in 1981......I've allowed myself to be more openly curious about other programs.

I was over at Charlotte high school a couple of weekends ago, at the performing arts center to see a Eagles tribute band. The acoustics weren't the best there and the band (other than the gentleman performing the Joe Walsh songs), was kinda a take it or leave it deal..........
