Coaches Headset Radio Frequencies?

Are there certain common frequencies that their wireless headsets use? How can we listen in (eavesdrop) with a scanner in the stands? Or do they encrypt their signals?

I was listening to Manatee practice last week on the old AN/PRC-25. I scanned and found the two "pre-sets" or main and alternative frequencies, if I tell you what they are, I'd prolly have to keel you. But, here's what I heard:

Very few still use UHF simplex systems. Portaphone digicom and CoachComm are encrypted.

This thread reminded me of the old days when we were playing Venice High and got the wires mixed up and they were listening to what plays we were running. The defensive coordinator was yelling to the players what we were going to do and we still beat them, Good times
