Tarpons had their 5th straight rain/lightening delay of the season, didn't get started till 9:40 and ended after midnight at The Sam.

This one left a lot of players off the field. The Green Wave's best back, Darrian Felix was out and after the first Tarpon score, D'vonte Price left with a shoulder injury. The Tarps also had more than a few players sitting for discipline reasons on both sides of the ball.

After last year, Coach Sammy had the Wave amped up for this one, the hitting was impressive. The Wave scored first going up 6-0. Then Price landing on his shoulder catching a pass. He was able to score on a run, going in untouched, but that was it for him.

The young Tarpon kicker hit a long FG making it 10-6. Tried another with 6 seconds on clock before half, the left side of the Defense went off side, and it was just short. The ref never called it.

Second half the Tarpons made enough plays to close it out with two more TDs. DB Savorion Warren had three pics tonight, that is his 2nd Hat Trick in three games for Interceptions, he had three against Miami. A lot of back-ups stepped up tonight.

Both teams gathered up after the game for a team prayer. This has been a tradition between these two teams ever since they first did it the week Coach Sam Sr. passed away.
