This is the 5th straight season the Pirates started this game with the lead, but this is definitley not the first team better than the Tarpons over that time. It is however, the first Pirate team in these five years that finished with the lead.

This is the Pirates 5th win in the series, so congrats to them. They took a knee at the end when they were inside the 2. That's a lot of restraint shown given this is such a lopsided series. But Charlotte had a similar run with Ft Myers.

Could this district could get 4 teams in?

Its a scenario that could easily happen, and wouldn't be surprised to see the region championship end up being a all District 12 final as well.

It's all about the RPI Silver, Charlotte HS prior to this past Friday's games, sat in position #4 for Region 3 6A......easily qualifying them for the playoffs......as it looks now....Region 3 is pretty week making qualifying for the playoffs well within the realm of possibility.
