Trinity Christian (11-2) will appear in the first of three games in the series (kickoff at noon) and will take on the Washington State Class 3A champion Eastside Catholic Crusaders.

Eastside Catholic finished their season 13-1 and ended Bellevue's 67-game win streak in the 3A championship game.

All three games in the bowl series will be nationally televised on ESPNU, giving Trinity Christian a shot at redemption. The Conquerors appeared on the ESPN family of networks twice in 2014 losing to Buford 17-0 in the first game of the season before falling to IMG Academy, 28-7, October 16.

Joining Trinity Christian and Eastside Christian in the bowl series are two other state champions from the Sunshine State in Miami's Booker T. Washington (Class 4A champs) and Miami Central (Class 6A champs). They will play Utah's Bingham (14-0, Class 5A champs), and Washington's Bothell (14-0, Class 4A champs) respectively. Games are on 12-27-14

Florida High School Athletic Association executive director Roger Deering confirmed the football State Champions Bowl Series is coming to FAU Stadium at Boca Raton on Dec. 27

I hope Trinity plays well next week. I do know that they are a different team than the one that opened the year against Buford. , I'm not sure many small schools in the country could claim to have played a schedule as tough as TCJax. After the bowl game, TCJax will have faced 3 teams in the national top 20. (Buford #12, IMG #15, and Eastside Catholic #20).

TC Man,

With all the success the football program is continuing to have, is the school going to upgrade the football facilities any time soon? I used to play at Trinity and I have been curious if this will happen soon. The football program sure deserves it.

Nah, Miami will have bigger crowds as they care more about high school football than the Tampa Bay Area.

You could tie it in with the Under Armor game though

Different sponsors my friend. Too political and too much red tape. Money makes the world go round.

35-21 TCJax final over Eastside Catholic . Florida 1-0 in the battle of champions - best of wishes to central and BTW
