California Team Has 28 Uniform Combinations

They won the state championship last year and, apparently, someone felt they were deserving of this many uniform combinations. It's sad when we know many teams that can hardly find enough decent uniforms for the entire team. This will definitely get them ready for the spectacle known as college
football!

Oviedo has 7 jerseys 4 pants and two helmets. That is 56 different combos if they wanted it to be. Niceville, Seabreeze, West Orange all have 2 helmets. I'm sure there are many more that do.

Two helmets is not a big deal. All helmets are made the same and repainted and decals added every year. Trying to maintain several sets of jerseys in all numbers for several years is almost impossible. If a booster gives money for them once, are they also going to pay for replacements?

There are so many things these players need long before they get multiple jerseys and pants. Spend the money to send them to camps and combines. Multiple uniforms won't help them get to the next level!

having two helmets cost an additional 12k-15k. Plus whatever it costs to refurbish them per year.

We're just a little 1A team and we have 4 jerseys and 3 pant sets. most schools now have 3 sets of unis. Home,away and usually a gray.

We have to remember that the football program supports all the other sports. Buying additional uniforms is a little ridiculous. If donors are buying them, make certain the team has other equipment they really need first. I think those coolers they attach to the shoulder pads while on the sidelines are awesome. Keeping players cool should be a priority to have many uniform options.

This just seems like a petty argument....who cares...players love multiple uniforms...not a big deal....
