Running clock in the 3rd QT of this game, and Manatee becomes 0-5 with a 0-6 record all but certain after next weeks game with Venice, for the first time in my life. As I indicated in my post regarding my prediction for this game, I'm fairly certain those with over-sight authority and/or influence over the Manatee football program have already determine to give Jaquez a pass for this season citing any of the following (youth of the team, schedule, and coaching turmoil) as their justification for that mindset. I see this Manatee team as having sufficient talent to be at worst 2-4, if the team had adequate coaching after this week game against Venice.
With the remaining four teams on the schedule after the Venice game, I see Manatee as a favorite to win 2, a toss-up in another, and a clear under-dog in another..............for a potential 2-8 season............my oh my how far the once mighty have fallen!
