Me and the Golden Guys (Minus Dan probably as he may not be over last week) will of course be front and center and any are welcome to join the crew (well except for those that just like to keep it on the message board and never want to meet anyone they talk to on the internet).

Had Choctaw been headed to the game, I would have been there. But, there's no reason to drive 14 hours each way now.

10 to 12 guys some times more depending on what teams are represented at states.

I am back and will be there for all four games. The cruise was okay, but I missed the Manatee game. Most long time Apk fans really wanted a chance to see Aopka play against Manatee. It was twenty years since the two teams last squared off. I liked Apopka's chances but expected a closer game.

Unfortunately my consecutive streak of state final appearances will end at 10 this year. I'm flying up to Baltimore to experience the Army/Navy game for the first time. My niece will graduate from Annapolis next year and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see this great event. I'll be back to start a new streak in 2015. Will be texting you guys for updates both days. Enjoy the games.

I was going to miss this week because I was going on a cruise but since Apopka made the 8A final I cancelled the cruise and forfeiited the $5000. That's what kind of fan I am.

Mark, believe me, if it was not a family reunion for my wife, I would have missed it. But the choice was cruise or divorce. After 33 years, I don't think divorce was an option. Any other situation, I would have been at Roger Williams last Friday.

Darter, emulating Mark and his numerous exMrs Cannons is one avenue you don't want to explore. Number 7 is so young that when she reaches retirement age, and alimony payments stop Mark will be 94yrs old. Also taking marriage advice from green horn Peezy is ridiculous. The man's been married 50-60 days now. His leash is so short he rarely leaves the front yard. Darter congrats on the 33yrs.

,You got that right Dan I'm in the same boat as you and darter,been married many years,so tryiny to explain to wife that I need to get into my savings and take out $50.00 to go to the games Saturday, parking, and eat at a restaurant of Marks choosing is nerve wrecking.

We'll be thinking of you guys. Can't make it this year due to a variety of things going on. Was hoping Dan's Mainland Bucs would make it. Without them,our Lincoln Trojans, or my Coral a Gables Cavaliers, there wasn't much motivation anyway. I'm tired of seeing STA, Armeood, etc year after year.
