Also getting your backups quality game time in a playoff situation is not an opportunity I would waste. You never know when a player is going to go down with an injury and to avoid sending in a backup with little or no game experience, personally I would forego blowing out a team.Originally posted by MustangMom:
I'm certainly no coach, but can't understand why Armwood's starters were still in during the 4th quarter, with the score at 49-0. I would think they would be out, if for no other reason than to save the starters for next week, and not take a chance on them getting hurt at the end of a lopsided game.
It probably has something to do with Gainseville coming out with a smoke entry and claiming Armwood's field... Yeah Callahan is known for sending teams home that do that with a little extra salt in their veins.Originally posted by MustangMom:

Gville made the mistake of pulling the tail of a sleeping lion... Armwood might have taken them lightly had Gville just came out humble and quietly LOLOriginally posted by 307mac:
Well before kickoff Gainsville and Armwood were in each others face ,and why when you are down 21-0 get a first down you flip the ball to a Armwood coach on the sideline, so I think it was payback ,but I have seen Armwood play about 3 times and believe me they are well coached and respectful.
