Armwood vs Gainesville

21~0 55 yard td pass o.k. 28~0 3 yard td pass 2:35 left 1st qtr yes still in the first I smell a running clock

35~0 qb scramble from 15 yards out,but should have been sacked on that play which was 3rd and 12

Halftime Armwood up 35-0 sloppy tackling has hurt Gainesville

Armwood up 42-0 flair pass in the flat 40 yards for the score.

Wow 1st string still in for Armwood,5 yard td run 49-0 start of the 4th qtr

So is Armwood that good or is Gainesville not up to 6A standards?

I'm just wondering what Choctaw has to look forward to.

The eye test says when you see Armwoods off.line 2 or 3 look like they should be division 1 recruits, the the center looks 6'5 290 ,heck some off the 2nd string line look bigger than the 1st string. They run the spread read option, but on passing downs Gainsville got to the qb almost every time ,but he is real good at scrambling which helped out a lot ,now their defense just say you wont shake in your boots size wise when they come out ,but that Bryon Cowart is a beast and the defense feeds off him,the defense is very quick. Now what I believe hurt Gainsville was they got down early so it was no secret they had to pass and Cowart and co. were on the qb for sacks, and maybe a little bit of better tackling would have helped to.

I'm certainly no coach, but can't understand why Armwood's starters were still in during the 4th quarter, with the score at 49-0. I would think they would be out, if for no other reason than to save the starters for next week, and not take a chance on them getting hurt at the end of a lopsided game.

Also getting your backups quality game time in a playoff situation is not an opportunity I would waste. You never know when a player is going to go down with an injury and to avoid sending in a backup with little or no game experience, personally I would forego blowing out a team.

Well before kickoff Gainsville and Armwood were in each others face ,and why when you are down 21-0 get a first down you flip the ball to a Armwood coach on the sideline, so I think it was payback ,but I have seen Armwood play about 3 times and believe me they are well coached and respectful.

It probably has something to do with Gainseville coming out with a smoke entry and claiming Armwood's field... Yeah Callahan is known for sending teams home that do that with a little extra salt in their veins.

Gville made the mistake of pulling the tail of a sleeping lion... Armwood might have taken them lightly had Gville just came out humble and quietly LOL
