If you haven't checked it out yet, you should visit www.fhs7v7a.com for more information on high school football's new answer to offseason activites in the State of Florida. For years baseball has had fall ball, and basketball has had offseason AAU and summer leagues. Now football has something too. And the best part is, High School Coaches can put together their team made up of their players from their school running their scheme offensively and defensively, and put in real skill work in the offseason to get ready for the regular season. If your players want to go to tournaments the FHS7v7A has them. If your players want recruiting exposure, the FHS7v7A has it. No longer is it neccessary for coaches to give up their players in the offseason to all star travel showcase 7v7 teams made up of players from all over and run the many risks that go along with it. Check out the Florida High School 7v7 Association at www.fhs7v7a.com or follow on twitter @fhs7v7a .

The FHS7v7A has its next tournament coming up at the end of this month in Palm Coast on April 25th, hosted by Matanzas. This tournament is FREE to all FHS7v7A member teams. Registration fee for the season is only $25 per player & $30 per coach and includes accident/medical insurance for all participants, and the schools and locations at which the practices and games occur.

So, the skill positions will play 7 on 7 and the linemen spend time in the weight room and bulking up?

Wish there were competitions for linemen, also. Or maybe some type of summer team organized activity to promote "team building." There's not a single skill player who will succeed without the big guys protecting them!
