Monroe Area HS (GA) Located 20 min. west of Athens and 40 min. east of downtown Atlanta is seeking a Varsity Assistant Coach certified in SPED. If you have a Full Time Professional Certificate in Florida then you will be granted reciprocity in GA with a GA Certificate. Monroe Area boasts one of the states top teaching salaries. Base GA Pay based on years experience plus a 13% local supplement on top of that. For example, a teacher with 10 years experience will receive a starting salary of $42,300 plus a 13% supplement of $5,500 on top of that to bring just the teaching salary to $47,800. This is all prior to Athletic Supplements which were just voted to be increased 30% over the next two years. Second sport option available for Head Track, Assistant Boys or Girls Basketball and/or Head Soccer.
