In the spirit of the NFL Veteran Combine:

So for those of you fortunate enough to have played the great game of football you probably ran a 40 before. For those that did:

1. What was your best 40 time in your playing days

2. What do you think you could run the 40 in NOW (yes this applies to all young and old).

For those that want to see what some of the NFL Vets could do see below link.

Forgot to answer my own question.

1. 4.55 1999 hand time
2. +60lbs later 5.55

1. 4.62 (hand time)

2.... Jeez.... hopefully still in the 4's!!! I'd be happy with a 4.99

Can't wait until SK posts his times! It should be illegal to record 40 times for linemen.

I used to run a mile every day before high school basketball practice but they never track 40 times for women's sports.

SK was known for coming off the ball like a V-2 Rocket but was always clocked at 5.0 in college even though he is sure he was more like 4.85 on game day. He was the guy who led sweeps in HS that established a rushing record that wasn't broken for 37 years until Mike Bellamy did it. Blocked for four different 1000 yard backs in college (another two HS). Had to be fast to stay ahead of those Belle Glade running backs who used to chase down the rabbits 35 years before ESPN told that story. SK was fast as a scalded dog for a lineman.

SK think he can probably do it in 10.5 right now if Wavebb gets a greyhound from Bonita to pace him.
